[Sharing Permissions](https://help.planbook.com/share-collaborate?hsLang=en#sharing-permissions) # How to add Permission for a Class (for COPY & LINK) ## This article will provide users with the information needed to create a sharing permission. A sharing permission is required to give another teacher access to copy or link content from your account. To allow other teachers to copy or link from your classes, you will need to add a permission. Once a permission is created, your email address will automatically appear in the account as a potential copy/link source in the accounts listed on the sharing permission. A sharing permission **is not** needed for Replica. To create a sharing permission to allow copying and linking: 1. Click the **User Settings** icon in top-right menu. 2. Select the **Sharing Options** button. 3. Select **Collaborate - Permissions** in menu bar. 4. Click the **Add** (+) button to add a new permission. 5. Select the **teachers** (email address), **classes**, and **view** rules. 6. Click the **Save** (checkmark) icon in top-right menu to save your changes.
