How to add a Template

This article will provide users with the information needed to create a template, which is an easy way to add repeating information to plans.

To create a new template:
  1. From the Planbook Bar, select Templates.
  2. Click the Add (+) icon in the top-right menu.
  3. Enter a Title for the template.
  4. Select a Lesson Layout for the template. The template lesson layout typically match the lesson layout of the class(es) that will use the template.
  5. In the Class section, click the Add (+) icon.
  6. Enter class information for each class that will use the template:
    • Class - Name of class to apply the template
    • Days - Days of the week to apply the template
    • Date - Date range to apply the template
  7. Add template content into each desired section of the layout. You can add content to multiple sections in a single template.
  8. Click the Save (checkmark) icon in top-right menu to save the template. A 'T' will appear in your plans when a Template is applied.
