Getting Started with a Manager Account

This article will provide Managers with the information needed to utilize their new Planbook account.

Welcome to Planbook!  Here you will find a variety of supports to help you get started in your new account.

Manager accounts are free for Planbook schools and districts, and a school can add as many manager accounts as needed. A manager account has the following capabilities for an individual school:

• Manage (invite/remove) teachers for the school account.
• Manage annual subscription renewal and (if applicable) payment for the school account.
• (Coming Soon!) Manage events for the school account. This will allow adding the school calendar each year.
• (Coming Soon!) Import and manage students for the school account.

A key goal of the manager account is to allow school leadership to delegate these tasks to the appropriate individual(s) at their school.  Please note that the Manager may only manage one school.

Below is a list of each Planbook page available to managers as well as step-by-step tutorials of primary action within those pages:

• Teachers: Add or remove users on a school account.

  • Security: Update email and password for your account.
  • Billing: Renew the school's Planbook subscription.
• School Profile
  • School Information: Set when teacher plans are due.
  • Billing Information: Keep current or select "Same as school information" to ensure receipt of Planbook correspondences.
